How to auto-fill a job from a URL

Let AI fill in job details for you by pasting a URL or job description text.

Auto-fill from a URL:

1. Click Add Job
2. Paste the job posting URL
3. Orbit fetches the page and extracts the details automatically

Auto-fill from text:

1. Click Add Job
2. Paste the raw job description text
3. AI reads the text and fills in the fields

What gets extracted:

• Company name
• Role and title
• Location and work arrangement (remote, hybrid, or onsite)
• Salary range
• Relevant tags
• Key notes from the description

Setup required:

You need an AI provider configured in Settings > Preferences. Enter your API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Grok.

Tip: Pasting a URL is the fastest way to add a job. Orbit does the data entry for you.
