Plan your financial runway

The Runway calculator shows you how many months of savings you have left, so you can plan your job search timeline.

Set up Runway:

1. Go to Tools > Runway
2. Enter your current savings
3. Add your monthly expenses across categories like housing, food, transport, insurance, and more
4. Add any income sources (freelance, unemployment benefits, side projects, severance, etc.)

What you will see:

• Runway estimate — How many months your savings will last
• Burn rate — Your monthly spending rate
• Forecast chart — A projection of your remaining funds over time
• Status indicator — Green, orange, or red depending on how much runway you have left

Segments:

• Overview — The big picture with your forecast chart
• Expenses — Manage individual expense entries across 14 categories
• Income — Manage freelance income, withdrawals, benefits, and other sources

Tip: The Runway widget on your Dashboard shows a snapshot of your financial status at a glance.
